This is a 10 session course, spread over 5 weekends. 2 hours per session. You will be learning the fundamental techniques of pottery and a complete introduction to the various processes. This course focuses on sessions centered around hand building pottery, pottery on wheel and glaze application.
4 dedicated sessions of pottery on wheel focusses on key techniques of centering, pulling, and trimming. You will learn to make cylinders, bowls, and a plate. During these classes, we focus more on the technique rather than the end product. Our aim is to introduce you to the material at the same time understanding its nature.
4 dedicated sessions of hand-building pottery focusses on building a good foundation in techniques like Pinching, Coiling & Slab work. During this course, you will learn to make Bowls, Plates, Mugs, and shapes such as a Turtle, Hut. The first three sessions introduce you to the techniques and the final session focuses on building a form of your choice using these techniques.
2 sessions, where we teach you how to apply glazes to your products. The process of glaze making, application, and techniques used. We accommodate only 4 students per session, hence the registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
Note:
- The class fee is inclusive of material and tools.
- At the end of this course the pieces will be bisque fired and glazed by us. The process of drying, glazing, and firing can take up to 2-3 weeks.
- No refunds will be provided if the registration is not cancelled 10 days before the class.

What should I wear to class?
Wear something comfy and okay to get a little messy. We provide aprons, but clay has a way of finding its way around.

Will I get to take home what I make?
At the end of this course, you have the option of taking your finished pieces at a nominal fee of Rs 250/- per piece. The pieces will be bisque fired and glazed by us in predefined colours. The process of drying, glazing, and firing can take up to 3- 4 weeks.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
